Automobile/van adaptations including sales, training, information, product repair, fit/modification, and custom design/fabrication – Adaptive equipment for cars, trucks, and vans including lowered floor mini and full-size vans, fully automatic wheelchair lift with platform, raised tops and doors, wheelchair securement systems, EZ-Lock wheelchair securement systems, power side door openers, 8-way power transfer seat bases, Turny Automotive Seat (TAS), lift-up seat, hand controls, left foot gas pedal with roller, clamp-on steering device, parking brake, right-hand turn signal lever, mobility seat, scooter lifts, low/zero effort steering and braking, and electronic controls – Accessible vehicle rentals.

Volunteer tax consultants provide free income tax counseling and tax form preparation: including Wisconsin Homestead Credit forms income tax preparation includes federal and state returns for seniors. Services run February 1 through April filing date. Various sites appointments can be made at L E Phillips Senior Center.

The Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is a grant program through the Federal Department of Health & Human Services Administration on Aging: the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The grant program was developed to assist states in their efforts to create a single: coordinated system of information and access for all persons seeking long-term care support to minimize confusion: enhance individual choice and support informed decision-making. There are no income requirements to utilize the services of the ADRC. ADRC’s assist anyone age 60 and over as well as adults age 18-59 with disabilities. ADRC services are also available to family members: friends: caregivers and professionals working with these populations.
