ABATE of Wisconsin’s goal is to give the motorcyclists of Wisconsin a strong, united voice with regard to their future, their way of life, their safety, and their legal rights as motorcyclists and citizens. ABATE of Wisconsin, since it’s beginning in the 1970’s, has worked on issues such as mandatory helmet and seat belt use laws, angle parking restriction, motorcycle equipment restrictions, promoting Rider Safety Courses, license renewal policies, and more.

The reason for a Wisconsin chapter is simple: a disease as devastating as ALS requires a localized level of care and resources. While we work closely with the National Office in sharing information and patient advocacy efforts, we’re largely an autonomous organization that relies on the financial and volunteer support of the local area.

Library Board meetings are held at 9:00 a.m. on the third Wednesday each month at the library.  Meetings are open to the public.  Contact the library for more information.
